From this Thursday (13), there is a change in the values of the table of the cooperatives that operate taxis on arrival from Santos Dumont Airport, as announced by the Municipal Transportation of Rio de Janeiro.
The reduction in the price of some routes reaches up to 70%.
According to a survey, 84 within the 164 paths, received a discount of more than $ 5. Such as the trip to the neighborhood of Santa Teresa, which went from R$ 60 to R$ 15.
According to the municipality, only nine routes had increased prices by more than R$ 5.
The change is only for taxis cooperative’s Santos Dumont airport, which charge values according to the table.
The changes, according justification given by the Municipal Department of Traffic, occurred due to several complaints from passengers.
After the table Santos Dumont, rates for taxis from Galeao Airport, Bus Station New River and Quayside will be the next to be changed.
