Commission discusses new changes to airport in Rio de Janeiro

It was held on Tuesday (11) a roundtable with the Committee on Roads and Transportation to discuss the complete removal of international flights from Terminal 1 of the International Airport Galeao – Antonio Carlos Jobim in Rio de Janeiro.

The airport is the largest in Rio de Janeiro and the most known and visited soon after the Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo, explain how MEPs Washington Reis (PMDB) and Alexandre Santos (PMDB).

Infraero, the company responsible for administering the Galleon, intends to leave Terminal 1 exclusively for domestic flights and Terminal 2 for international flights.

According to information from the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), with the change, organs that were once stranded in Terminal 1, as the Federal Police, the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Agency for Sanitary Vigilance, will be removed.
