In Aterro do Flamengo, South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, taxi drivers gathered to hold a protest on Tuesday (30). According to information from CBN radio, they occupied two lanes of the road towards Botafogo, near the Monument to Pracinhas, leaving traffic retained on site.

A few hours earlier, they had gathered forming an “SOS” in front of the Santos Dumont Airport, also in Rio de Janeiro.

Taxi drivers were protesting against an injunction of Justice wich intends to prevent widows of the drivers to transfer their autonomy and that other drivers are hired. The injunction requested by one of the unions representing the category actually faces strong opposition from the self-employed.
