To avoid further inconvenience to passengers in the case of closure of the airport Santos Dumont in Rio de Janeiro, and Congonhas in Sao Paulo, the federal government studies create an alternative to expedite care. Santos Dumont and Congonhas airports were the airports wich presented more closing due to bad weather.

On Tuesday (4), there was a meeting between Franco Moreira, Minister of Civil Aviation Secretariat, representatives of the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) and Infraero, aiming to discuss the main points of the plan, which has should be operational in the coming weeks.

The point prioritized is improving the communication, so that passengers can be informed promptly of the reasons for closure and the estimated time for reopening the airport. Shall be an increase in the number of employees so that all passengers can be attended.

It is believed that with this plan, confusion by misinformation can be avoided and passengers are able to program if problems occur.
